Antico Pastificio Artigianale
Our "pasta-makers since 1860"'s pasta is manufactured in a Tuscan area where the calling for pasta has a long time tradition.
And in this part of Tuscany the family started his own activity, gathering together simple natural elements like water and flour and mixing them with the passion of his own trade and respecting time.
Since then, they keep on manufacturing pasta and still today, in the same factory, with passion and skill, they carrie out this activity of Pasta-Masters to manufacture the natural and ancient specialties.

 
 
 
 
 
 
     
 
 
 
 
       
 
 

The art of making Pasta
This pasta is manufactured since 1860 with traditional methods: strictly selected by experts, the best hard wheat bran is mixed with pure water and skillfully worked in the bronze processing plant which supply the specific porosity.
During the processing, they leave their own made pasta rest for 3 days and 3 nights at low temperature in special wood dryers, thus reaching a complete and natural drying. The peculiar pasta processing is, and will always be, a secret.
Ever since the beginning the pasta makers have always duly concealed the manufacturing process. The access to the production area is strictly forbidden to unauthorized people. And right in one of those rooms one of the main secrets could be hidden: ancient walls full of a mixture of humidity and natural smells.
 
 

The country pack:
As requested by the Pasta Tradition, the ingredients and processing genuineness must match the care and craftmade pack.
Thinking back to this ancient rule stated by old pasta masters, our pasta factory created the country like pack in a way that it's good for making gift.
Every single pack of Conforti's Rustic Pasta is hand-wrapped up in a straw-paper, like the pasta tradition requires.
