This extraordinary delicacy, produced by Savitar of San Miniato, is featured by an intense fragrance and it is made up of tuscan selected wholemeal honey and White Truffle of San Miniato (Tuber Magnatum Pico).
Since honey absorbs easily the White Truffle taste, we suggest to wait some minutes leaving the pot opened before using our Savitar's White Truffle.
Savitar's White Truffle Honey is excellent on toasted buttered bread or for dessert, thickened with some ricotta cheese. Dainty choice on cheese, as on gorgonzola or on ripe cheese, Savitar's Truffle Honey is delicious even on a creamy icecream.

RECOMMENDED RECIPE

Duck breast with White Truffle Honey:

Ingredients (quantity for 4 people): 2 duck breasts, a glass of red wine, vinegar, 4 spoons of White Truffle Honey, a spoon of meat extract, 1 shallot (green onion), pepper, salt.

Toss the duck breasts with butter at high flame (the breasts inside must be pink), set them on a dish and leave them to rest warm. Throw away half of the fat remained on the pan and with the other half fry the shallot chopped thin. Add wine and let it absorb, then add some vinegar, the meat extract andl White Truffle Honey .
Filter everything. Cut the duck breasts lenghtwise and our the sauce. Serve immediately warm on its course.
