Cantuccino (or Cantuccio) is one of the biscuits which most of all fully portraits the Tuscan tradition. This is the chocolate version. Tuscan Cantuccini (or Cantucci) are obtained cutting transversely a roll of dough stuffed with almonds (around 20%) and pine-seeds (around 2%).
The resulting biscuits are then crunchy and browned on the outside; on the side view you will notice the peculiar almonds section.
Ingredients: wheat flour, sugar, italian almonds, chocolate, fresh eggs, fresh butter, pine seeds of San Rossore Park, fresh eggs yolks, italian honey, resing agents (ammonium bicarbonate, sodium bicarbonate), salt.
