Cantuccino (or Cantuccio) is one of the biscuits which most of all fully portraits the Tuscan tradition. Tuscan Cantuccini (or Cantucci) are obtained cutting transversely a roll of dough stuffed with almonds (around 20%) and pine-seeds (around 2%).
The resulting biscuits are then crunchy and browned on the outside; on the side view you will notice the peculiar almonds section.
Tuscan Cantuccino deserves its tradition to the manufacturing process, which has remained unchanged, to the flavour originality and the peculiar shape.
The are perfectly matched with a wide range of dessert wines, but above all soaked in a good Tuscan Vinsanto.
